How to fix old video from betamax (i.e. color, sharpness, etc)

Not sure how to search for this and searching "betamax" gives me weird result.

Anyway, I have an old betamax tape of my grandma recorded around 1980s, which were then converted into VCD a few years ago, and I am now converting it into AVI (divx).

Is there any video software that can fix or at least improve this AVI file? The video is quite yellowish, grainy, bad audio, and full of "tracking". If at least the color can be fixed (i.e. autocolor in photoshop), then that would be great!
