    Artist Comments:
Totally non post processed.. this image is to remind me never to hang your remote shutter from your tripod when you're in the sea with a rising tide... Needless to say it soaked it.. and gave me the shock of my life.. but all is good however as I managed to save it by opening it up and drying out the contacts. Hurray me!!

Taken from Pasir Ris Beach, Singapore at 6.29 AM. No sleep and after a cockroach hunt.. =/

    ISO 100
    Shutter Speed: 15 Seconds
    F Number: f11
    Focal Length 18mm
    Lens: 18-55mm Kit Lens
    Body: Canon 1000D

And a panorama of the side view while everyone was taking the sun.. I'm taking something else.. hahaha.. doh..

    Absolutely outstanding.

GND or ND filters being used I supposed?

To RyanG, No, there was no filters used, not even a UV filter. hehehe.. Just plain luck I guess. =) And Wet JEANS! @.@

    OH!

    I forgot to add this..

Errmm.. This is one of the Crazy pool side exposure things I did that NetJack was talking about.

I wished I had not moved in the rest of the pictures but standing there at 3am in the morning for 11secs an exposure feels so dumb..

Update: I think something like CLUB 1000D APAD should be appropriate for all kids of pics...my 2 cents
I see potential problems with both suggestions unfortunately because if you read the guidelines for APAD section it is meant for a single user to post. There is also a limit of 1 post per day and multiple images is technically against the guidelines. That is why I did not suggest using the APAD cos we will just get in trouble with YET ANOTHER mod (this time the one moderating the APAD).

We could post outing pics to a thread under the Street and candids although that only applies for shots of Cakka drinking booze, group photos and sexy poses from you and Cakka . My only concern is with the fact that the pics are in a seperate thread to the discussion going on here in the TCSS one. Having said that .. it is just my preference and I will defer this to the majority (as with all matters) if they feel that is okay with them.

Personally, I think that Rocfreak's idea of creating a photo thread in the TCSS section might be most viable. So the thread breakdwn could be
#1 Kopitiam/Club1000D TCSS Thread - this thread lah .. TCSSPP (play piano if u wondering not post-process)
#2 Kopitiam/Gallery thread - basically the gallery thread in the equipment section right now.
#3 Equipment/1000D Discussion - posts about the equipment and gear
#4 Monthly Theme Contest - we have a thread there which i am thinking we can move it to the blog since we can do voting the best entry much better there than here. plus that thread seldom gets outsiders/newcomers to the group posting that at all so there is no big loss moving it out of CS. It will also lessen the amount of worry we have about the mods coming don on us at some point.
#5 as per dev2k8's suggestion, group photos, pics taken during the outing etc .. can be put in the gallery forum under the street and candid sub section.

I hope the mods can see this and comment whether (at least at this point of time) this suggestion is viable .. also open to suggestions from anyone else reading.

Nice. Perhaps can clone away the flare on you and above Lucas. Leave the rest of the sun flares intact.

Ooohh...if they allow us to post our pics on this TCSS thread then that wud definitely be bery fine....sort of like everything under one roof...i think not only us that is facing this problem but many other threads as well like 450D/50D/Pentaxian etc....yup really hope to get some suggestions from the Mods!!! Ehhh...Mr Otega care to coment?

i believe it is both. the raynox was on the 18-55. It is a pity we never took shots of us squatting in front of this crack that had the roaches for prolly close to 20 minutes trying to wait for a good shot.
