Are the viewing/editing softwares from Canon 450D good?

just bought a 450d and installed the viewing/editing softwares that come with it.
tried using it for a while but i can't do much except viewing the photos.
the interface is so user-unfriendly, got me confused.

are the canon softwares good for viewing and editing photos? i'm currently using macbook.
can anyone recommend any good photo editing software, preferbly free which i can download from the net. thanks.

hmm..you can try gimp2 or picasa3....

ppl like me who dun noe PS can use this lor..

i tried it before.
and could not adapt to it.
Photoshop is the way to go!

found it! picasa 3 beta for mac user. HOORAY!!!
