nice setup but i would prefer to see a smooth hanger floor than this one. By the way how many gundam action base flooring you use to make up the hanger show inside there?

i like the first pic as for the 2nd and last pic, flash a bit on the strong side. last pic got too heavy shadow cast. should ease down a bit. u should concentrate on the head rather than shoulder missile. Maybe can add some people inside the set to make it more dramatic. RVF-25 should point more downwards. like inside the anime, they usually point the cockpit much lower. On the whole good try. hope to see more of ur shoots. PS: I too have some macross, maybe will ask denniskee to show case it. So far he only display my SDF 1 haha ..

the full armour is abit oof. pp in a smaller model in front of it, and it'll look like bokeh.

I dont have leh, the poilet that comes with it is all in sitting position. I do have some engineers that comes with the Gundam base, but they are white in colour.

You got good models, good background, but bad execution and lighting...

have you considered the fact that if they're real, everything should be sharp?

only this shot barely make a passing mark, but the shadow give it away... imagine if its a 1:1, that shadow is probably from the sunlight, but its a hangar...

Since you have a good steady background, consider making a rig just for such photography. Don't use flash, instead, get led lights, thin translucent white sheet to cover the lights and use a tripod for longer exposure. shadow will be softer and will look like its from multiple light source above. if you want, can also do some from sides. LED lights not expensive to start off with. Flash is definitely out for such shoots, unless taking either product for online sales.

So you are saying it should be sharp or it should be with shprt DOF? If i didnt misinterpret your massage, it should not be everything sharp mainly because the depth of Field is hugh thus should not be everything is sharp? But however consider everything is real, it could also be a tripod shot with long exposure that should be everything is sharp as well right? Not too sure, appreciate your view on this as I am also learning as indicated in the first post

LED is something I have not yet try before. For the back ground it take alot of space thus it is not something I have permanently. I disassemble them once shot is done. However I will go see what can be done on the LED Light. Good idea though. I need to check will it be the same effect if I will to use the white sheet/ paper to cover the Flash light? And position it from the top will it be able to deliver the same effect? Just trying out to see if it works.

Thank all who reply for taking your precious time to air your view. I will try it this coming weekend again to see if I am able to adjust changes to make the shoot better from all the comment here.

More please, keep it coming.

wah dun anyhow say a mod give massage ok...

lets talk about a camera... lets say if the plane is life size, you're standing there... what lens are you using to capture the view, a wideangle... so it should be say maybe 24mm f4, focusing will definitely be shooting at infinity. so everything will be sharp from plane to tip... true? cos the plane won't be less than 3 mtr away from you.

nice nice. but maybe u can try to structure your item. If u want all to be in robot mode, suggest all set that way. Else give more room space between each of the machine. On the whole .. Good one .. very nice :P
