OOF understanded
. All of them are actually in focus but due to the small sizes, DOF playing and soft filter applied, they looked OOF. Most malay photog that I know liked to keep everything in focus and everything lighted. I like to play around with bokeh, colors, subjects off centre, reflections, flash from crazy angles not just bounce up. like the shot below for example.i was less than a metre away from her and the flash was pointed to a white wall behind her and since i was too close and the wall behind her, not all parts of her face were lighted. Its a lucky shot. ![]() And the picture below was taken with the flash angled to the side. I was lucky to get a white curtain (or maybe it was yellow..forgot already) there acting like a "softbox" . The groom was trying to fix the veil which can't be reached by her.![]() Most malay couples don't do pre-wedding and/or on location wedding sessions. I like them to explore these and maybe more. However with the intricate AND thick songket attire, i doubt them getting cosy under the sun anytime soon.

thanks stock...it seems that JT-Fied liked the silhouette shots as well. I will try to work on it.
Maybe shots against the sun. Couple wall shadows, mirror reflections...usually if I am lucky to 'see' them, otherwise planning the shots in advance in my head hehe. Thank you for your kind time and advice. Really appreciate it. ![]()
