Weather proof for new lenses
Just read from Nikon Singapore's website, the new 17-55mm and 200-400mm are fitted with rubber ring on the lense mount.
Finally, weather proof from lense to body.  |

The "old" AF-S VR Nikkor 70-200 f/2.9G IF-ED is also weather proofed. The "G"-ness allowed it so.

It's not mentioned in the website previously, now it does. Also, it's not even mentioned in the Nikon USA site.
Just an observation, Nikon revamp some of the web pages, something's coming?  |
