Default LX3 Raynox 250 or Raynox Msn 202

Hi people

A new user to LX 3, planning to get a close up filter. May i know which 1 will be more suitable for LX 3 or any other better alternatives?

Btw where can i get a cheap adapter/extention tube. Went to AP Funan today and they quoted me 45 bucks (damn steep man)

MSN 202 would be better to use with the LX3.

Hey thanks for the input.
Yea heard the same comment from some other peeps as well. Any idea generally hw far will i be able to focus if i want to take insects such as spiders and stuff. Thanks.

I think raynox250 will have a better outcome than the MSN.

The main issue with the DCR250 is that you won't get much magnification with the LX3 since the LX3 only has 2.5x zoom.

yes i am aware of it but MSN output isnt that convincing.

Hmm i spoke to one of the local distributor who told me that not much will be achieved with Raynox 250 due to the zoom and will produce the same result as LX 3 macro mode. Instead it will only allow you to move nearer to the subject to focus. Hmm anyway what do you mean that MSN output is not that convincing? In term of sharpness or? Hope you all can help to clarify.

Thanks for replying and being helpful. Haha look like i got to try if possible to borrow the lenses and tried them out before deciding what to get.
