Hi there,
Need help regarding scanners. Needed for scanning old photographs. I'm a total noob in this.. can anyone help me on this? Thanks |

hi, im using a canon 8800f, very satisfied with it. it's less than $400. are you scanning negatives/slides or printed photos? of course, an epson v500/v700 is a little sharper, but really not significant unless printing large sizes like beyond 12R. and epson is way more expensive.
if you're just scanning to save in harddrive and maybe print a few canon 8800f is quite a good deal. can scane 2 strips of negative at one go. |

Is there a scanner that can scan a whole stack of 4R pics at 1 go?

Hi, thanks for the recommendation. Will be scanning prints and negative too. Will be great if can scan a stack of 4Rs in one go...

I think the Epson V700 can scan more at one go.

The Epson V700 seems a little expensive. How about the V500? I will be scanning 35mm slides and negatives.

Epson V500 is similar to Canon 8800f, but somehow I prefer the more pricey V500.
