If I am not mistaken, it is a tradition for them to cut their hair before the competition.

Noted. For sports, should I use exposure compensation or change ISO or reduce shutter speed? Need some advice on this aspect.

Do you mean most of the shots are OOF? I was shooting on a mixture of AF and AF-C. But the lens I was using was pretty slow; most of the shots using AF-C were useless. I anticipated the moment then just took the shot.
