and

Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS1 (Lumix DMC-TZ6) ->

Tz7 and Lx3 will be the best. Cheaper ones will be Fx37/38 i think.
Photography blog has reviewed both Tz6 (4*) and Tz7 (5*)
Think you shouldnt consider Zs1, might as well get Tz15 now.

As mentioned by Anson thou, Tz7 and Lx3 are really diff beasts.
Tz7 for long zoom, smaller, no manual functions and more for video.
Lx3 will be far btr in pic quality and has manual functions.

Think its w/o gst -> so becomes $560 with gst. Try Alan Photo.

I've heard that TZ7 batteries are chipped, means third party batteries will not work.
It will take some period of time before third party manufacturers can crack this.
Original battery cost around US$50

Just for info. Alan photo is selling Panasonic Lumix DMC TZ7 for $570 inclusive of GST, free 8GB storage card and camera case. Cathay Photo Store is selling $575 inclusive of GST, free 8GB storage card and camera case.

I personally feel that the design will be more ergonomic if the shutter button and mode dial can switch place.
