Tokina 12-24mm F4 from ADORAMA

Hi Guys,

Was researching for a purchase of Tokina 12-24mm F4 when I came across the ADORAMA website.

The lens is on sale for US$399, and with delivery to Singapore will cost US$446, approx S$676. This is price is cheaper than what is being sold locally, provided the lens price listed on the sticky is accurate.

So what do you guys think of this deal? Anyone bought lens from overseas website before?

A couple of caveats:

Does Tokina honour warranty on US lenses?
Factor in 7% GST since Cost, Insurance and Freight is over S$400.
Call the usual shops to find out the latest price.

But I think yes, it'll be cheaper overseas.

Check with Cathay Photos whether they honour the warranty of a foreign set that is not distributed by them.
