i miss the malayan tigers in spore zoo, kind of getting tired looking at the white one always, the ones in night safari are too difficult to shoot at night...hope the orange coat will be back at the zoo somedays..

These tigers are housed in Big Cat Complex as mentioned in their web site,
"Come face-to-face with one of the world’s most lethal predators: the Malayan Tiger! A modern RM2.8 million Big Cat Complex brings you up close and (almost) personal to several Malayan Tigers, some of which are reputed man-eaters. The Complex, built in 2006, also features the Clouded Leopard and Black Panther of Malaysia as well as the African Lion. The Complex offers visitors a closer look at the big cat’s enclosure through a glass panel or over and “Open Concept” water barrier. This is the flagship exhibit of Zoo Melaka." |

Great shots of the Malayan Tiger
I've found the zoo's up north to have the best active animals, as opposed to sleeping ones. Check out Zoo Negara and you will find lively animals there too. ![]() |
