There's no one better brand. Just which camera suits your needs. You're looking at P&S cameras? Prosumers? DSLRs?

If you really want to know which models you can go to http://www.underwaterphotography.com/Store/default.aspx to have a look. Quite a comprehensive database they have there of various camera brand's housings.

Can't agree more

TS.... its more about your buget and style than which camera brand is better. But before buying any camera.... make sure that some type of underwater casing is available in the market for it (and can be brought locally).

I thought you had already got your hands on a Nikon D90? No? My bad.
C, O & N has 3rd party brands of U/W housing/strobes.
I'm personally more comfortable with a Canon, but the Olympus E4XX series is really small and light and good for travelling. Portability wise, the new Panasonic micro 4/3 would be most handy.

Actually, the E4xx series is nearly the same size as the Panasonic m4/3. I had the impression that the m4/3 was smaller but someone showed to me both cameras and when compared, they are virtually identical in size.

Thats what the internet if for...... Once you narrow down your choices to a certain model.... go to their website (Canon or Oly), and check to see if OEM U/W casing is sold for this model of camera..... Problem solve.

Don't remember Oly using SD..... but I might be wrong. My advice, since memory card (SD, SDHC, xD... etc) is rather cheap nowadays..... get the camera which suits you better... instead of which one is using which memory card.....

My 2-Cents

The Canon powershot series use SD cards. You can go down to VivoCity's showroom to check.
For Olympus, the showroom is at Valley Point.
If not just drop to the usual J316/MS Color or TK Foto.
