Default My 2 cents worth on the course

Since I am a student of the second intake, I shall give my 2 cents worth.
I am an amateur photographer taking pictures for leisure. Never have I imagine that I will be taking wedding pictures for people until my brother in law asked me to take his ROM shots. I must say I was quite flustered at my first attempt although the pictures turned out ok.
I found out that Stanley Lim was conducting a Actual Day Wedding course through ClubSnap and so I went down to see them. I must say I was very impressed with Joanne (Stanley’s wife) in my first visit. She took time and sat down with me, looked through the photos that I have taken and slowly guide me through their course content which includes 1)Photography Basics 2) Wedding Day workflow 3) Flash techniques, Eqpt Maintenance 4) Sales Negotiation 5) Outdoor Photography 6)Studio techniques and 2 sessions of outdoor practical and studio practical.
Stanley is a person who doesn’t hold anything back once he starts sharing with you his experiences which I must say it’s aplenty. His funny antics and wealth of experiences really makes you feel at home even for an amateur like me. He has been teaching us more than what he initially planned to do and I personally am very appreciative of his guidance.
After attending his second lesson, I was asked by my colleague to be her main wedding photographer. Stanley actually took time to explain to me what to look out for and even lend me his treasured Hammer flash. Of course the photos turned out very well compared to my first attempt. My colleague needless to say was overjoyed.
I would say that my overall photography skills have improved after attending his lessons. I was even able to apply his techniques and took pictures of my baby girl being delivered. My wife was surprised herself at the photos that turned out.
Those who have an interest in shooting portraits should actually go talk to Joanne or Stanley. I am sure, like me, you will walked out feeling more learned each time.

juz to add on, i went down to enquire details and was surprised and delighted to realise that the insturctor, teachers based on skills and experiance , not equiptment. he uses the logic " its not the camera its the eye behind" and thir friendlynes is one of a kind too! ull feel at home there, it wun feel like a classroom, rather like a gathering. aniwae i went there at 1130 and the class was still going on so u can guess how they extend it.
yup onli 3 places left.. hurry!
