1) Canon G10 2) Speedlite 580exII 3) Mikona flash with DIY difusser 4) on-board flash with DIY difusser 5) Opteka 10x close up 6) Raynox 250 8x close up Manual mode, f/8, 1/160, ISO100, FEC -1/3 to -2/3 ![]() |

woots! great shots man! i didnt know g10 can go up to such level. now i know and i want to buy the toys alr! can advise where to get the lenses?

yes, some of the shots were taken with opteka + raynox, some opteka alone, and some raynox alone. I seriously can't remember which is which.... hahhaha
opteka 10x closeup can get at amazon.com at 29usd. raynox dcr250 can get from the mass order section in clubsnap, about $120+ (I think).... |

Got some good shots there. Some hot spots here and there, but flash control seems better than mine lol. The black insects turn out well, and you got some good detail and colour on the tree hopper and grasshopper.

i am really fascinated with this tree-hopper thing. i mean, it comes in so many forms and shapes. i am still wondering what is that white cotton-like material made of and where did it come from. is it something like the silky web material made by spiders? but one thing for sure, the cotton-like material would greatly help the hopper to sustain flight between hops.
