Default The southern ridge

hi, wanna go the southern ridge to take some photos, need to do some research... any buddy here can share some experience?

topic of interest would be like:
time to be there... (if evening to nite, will it be too dark for taking pics etc etc...)
places to park car... (per entry payment, more free lots...)
more interesting landmark to take...
which part can omit... (cos too long to finish the entire thing)
things to take note...

etc etc etc

thanks in advance!
