    Learn it before but forget liao:

    Question:
    If i shine magneta light on a red surface wat wavelength of light (red, blue) will be reflected and wat will be absorbed? and what will be the eventual colour I see?
    10-20,18-70,18-200,50,80-200,70-300

    My guess (my physics is rather rusty now) -

    A red surface absorbs all except red. Magenta is made up of red + blue. Therefore if you shine magenta light onto a red surface, red will be reflected and you'll see a red patch.
