Default Equivalent Lens

Hi Guys,

I'm exploring into Sony and would like to know the following:

1. Any 3rd party lens ? I'm looking at wide angle of at least 17mm @ F2.8.
Perhaps Tamron?

get the sigma or tamron 14mm f2.8! its 1 hell of a wide lens...

How about the CZ 16-35mm

thanks for all the reply. thinking of changing my system and looking for alternatives.

D700 looks tempting. Haha! Since I'm thinking of D300 anyway
