Default Macros at AP_03

Some compilation shots to share taken from previous weeks at AP. Nice to meet some regular shooters as well as a number of shooters from NPS on their first visit. Hope u enjoy these series and C&C are most welcome

i like all the collections. very nice

what was the settings use for number 3 ? any flash ? manual or auto flash ?

what kind of lens ?

Love the soft lightings.
Your flash diffusers work like a charm .

hi sorry to bump ur thread. what setup to take such photos? would a dedicated macro lens suffice - tamron 105 f2.8?

Thanks aaSKaa for your comments. I used 1/80 at F16 as what the cam metering suggested with some fill-in flash. The power of the flash was manually set instead of auto. I m using the nik 200mm micro lens

Thanks allan for the comments. Nice meeting u and chatting with u all at AP last sat. Yes I like the effects of these diy diffusers although its alittle bulky to carry around

No problem & u are welcome to my thread Well my setup are made up of a Dslr with a 200mm 1:1 micro lens, a tripod and diffused lighting from the flashes. I uses manual mode on camera, lens and flashes as well. I started off with the Tamron SP90 1:1 macro lens initially but dont think tamron have the 105mm. Mayb u are referring to Sigma or nikon i guess. U can shoot nice macros with any of these lenses as well. I upgraded to a 200mm bcoz I like the longer working distance between the camera and the subject
