Zoo animals are caged animals, deprived of freedom to hunt and roam.


There is a slight yellow tinge on your photos (except the B&W one).

Using Nikon 55-200mm VR lens f3.5-f5.6.

hi very good attempt on your 1st try, can see that u are aware of eliminating the man made objects as far as possible , i like ur 1st rhino shot, however your pics looks a little too yellowish even for wildlife standard

the colour is good, what are ur setting for pic control? did u use vivid or normal, did u add saturation or something...?

Agree that most pics seemed yellowish. You used auto white balance? Tried to shoot with RAW and that way the WB can be changed if necessary.

Apart from that, well done.

You might want to try a little post processing...and in case you don't shoot in raw, you might want to look at this to correct the WB: http://imyfish.wordpress.com/2009/02...nce-everytime/
