Flash too harsh. Causes many hot spots especially when shooting insects with reflective surfaces. Can try toning down your flash or get a diffuser to disperse the light more evenly.

Yeap! Fully agree with that. Will try to avoid the same mistake again and get myself a good diffuser to soften the effect. Thanks.

Also for #3, You can try rotating 90 degrees counter clockwise so viewers don't have to tilt to view your photos.
