    Default Cheap studio lighting equipment

    Hi,

I'd like to know where I can buy a set of studio lighting equipment with very low price. I don't mind even if it's from China as long as it's reliable and good enough for beginner use.

    Thanks

    Hi Peter,

You might want to go to http://www.thestudiooutfitters.com/store where afiend has his online store to take a look at the equipment and prices displayed.

I must say that he provides excellent service for decent products that are reasonably priced for a budget studio set up.

Having purchased some lighting equipment from him, his products do perform well.

    Cheers!

    Hi Peter,

Well, it all depends on your requirements. For starters, if you intend to shoot mostly small-ish products (maybe up to the size of shampoo bottles etc) and close-up portraits (half body), then the Jinbei Delicacy 180 set would definitely be a good buy. This is especially so if you're planning to set up your shooting studio in a room at home.

Due to space constraints, a small 180Ws setup would be the most suitable. No point buying something that's an overkill.

At the end of the day, it's still pretty much what you want to shoot. You need to figure that out then purchase where necessary.

    Cheers!

This is an example of a product shot using a basic home setup:

Product table from Tago Tech <- $109 but it's currrently out of stock

Jinbei Delicacy 180 lights from The Studio Outfitters (afiend) <- $430

    Hope this helps!
