Please be forewarned that the use of B exposure mode concurrently with the self-timer will definitely seized/jam up your shutter curtain when the shutter is being released.
As soon as this happen, your SEAGULL's entire shutter mechanism will be render defective and has to be replaced in Shanghai. Do note that this malfunction is not being covered under the warranty. I do suspect that this mechanical hazard applies to most other made of TLR too. The above caution comes directly from SEAGULL regional distributer (Seng Cheong) in Singapore. Do hope fellow users will take heed of the above information. |

Hi,
I have checked and found that to be untrue. Same goes for my other leaf shutter lenses with self timer. no problems at all. Btw, I checked that on 3 different seagulls, all different models, on 3 different hassleblad lenses and a 1940s kodak ektar lens with self timer. maybe you want to check with them again. |
