Hi guys...well im given a chance to get a new lens for .under $500
Well, i have realli fallen for the 50mm f1.4 but issit possible to get under $500?both first hand/2nd hand?

sorri if tis question is asked b4...but im not putting tis on the ads section coz im not intending to buy yet..but just askin ard first...and for the SAL 55-200..ard wat price can i get from 2nd hand?

Welcome to the Alpha family.

50mm f1.4 u can get new one from Sony at $530 if not wrong.
Or you can get Minolta 50mm f1.4 at abt $300++ (2nd hand)

SAL55200 i saw someone selling now at $180.
Can check that out.

The 50mm f/1.4 tends to go for about 350 second hand. There's a couple that popped up recenty in the BnS.

Yes, it is almost identical apart from the different brand names.

the 55-200 is a value buy too.Very decent at f8-11.

Sony 50 f1.4 you can get $450 1st hand.

for Sony 55-200 you can get $120-$150 for 2nd hand.
