Coming, coming.
I was up until 4am waiting for my butterfly to come out. I got up again at 6am only to find that the butterfly was completely out. I took pics for 45 mins, but it still hadnt opened it's wings! It was gone when I got up at 9.30. ![]() I'm still reviewing my pics. The white tree hopper turned out very white, I only got 1 pic to salvage from that. |

Thanks. I just used Vivid on the camera, didnt tweak my colours
![]() Thanks. Well, half of them were found by others, I just joined the queue and took my shots! lol Thanks! I wouldn't say better, I take dozens of shots and pick the best one lol ![]() You'll get the hang of it with more practise. Day macro and night macro have different challenges, mostly with lighting. A difuser is very important because the flash is quite harsh at such a close distance to the subject. |

Excellent shots Troy ! Very good control on your lighting and DOF......All this shows that practice makes perfect. For all the newbies in macro photography, the best way to improve is to keep shooting and shooting !
