heard that since the price hike of 10-20% ?? in N & C brands last month, sony is the few that kept its prices unchanged.
used to be most expensive, now become cheapest ![]() Last edited by Exposure; 3rd April 2009 at 10:05 AM. |

Have to agree Sony RRP remains the same, but checking with some shops seems that their "street price" went up a bit compared to 1-2months ago...

i think Singapore is one of the countries with unchanged Sony prices
Australia is one that have up their prices. A900 cost 5299 over here. street price is lower, but still alot more expensive. 1k difference before price hike |

I would expect the 300mm to go up cos it's really rare... as for the 70-200 rumours are that it might see a replacement... but it's also short in supply I think...

Also, it there's a fixed Euro licensing cost per lens, that get affected by the exchange rate too.

Hope Sony keeps the A900 price steady...a few more pennies to go. (price reduction definitely welcomed!)

Yes. As has been discussed and extensively reviewed here and in many places on the web.
