![]() I have no idea what the two macaws are doing, but it sure looked amusing to me. I only noticed over exposure when I came home since I was trying to capture to shot before the birds returned back to their position, which they didn't. They stayed like that for 10 minutes, and probably still was when I left. ![]() The birdie looks depressed. (I would be too if I was caged like that.) ![]() http://www.sassy-scribbles.net/photo...rk17.sized.jpg I'm just linking this because while I find it to be a great shot, it was unfortunately with a blurry foreground. Oh well, more practicing then. ![]() I love mandarin ducks. Last edited by Vulpix0r; 28th October 2003 at 09:43 AM. |

I don't think it's a good angle either. Try getting down lower, shooting at eye level if possible.

I guess my emphasis was wrong because the duck was just standing there and being kinda dazed, and I was trying to emphasize that it's looking down and being dazed. What other angle can I try? (Don't think eye level is possible because of cage)

Weren't you shooting at JBP? The cage around the mandarin duck enclosure is very low. Of course you need to shoot the ducks in the middle of the pond. If they're right next to the cage, you will be forced to shoot above them.
