Inforcomm at Funan sells academic version for home use at under $1,000. Not sure which versions they got right now though.

For CS4 web premium,(unfortunately, not Production Premium), if you have a son/daughter/nephew/niece, who is in school/colleges, they can buy the CS4 web premium for $99. No difference from the the full version,for academic use. Each student is entitled to purchase 1 license.*Hint*

Adobe is ensuring these kids keep on using Photoshop/Adobe stuff when they grow up.

the license is for license to use by the student
