Default IR for A200?

hello,

i just bought a IR filoter for my a200. and came to know that i requires a VERY long exposure and ofcos it is NOT possible to hand held my camera. any tips?

yeah.. but i heard from the seller of that filter about modifying? what does he mean?

They would actually remove the IR hot pass filter on the A200. It's a permanent mod to a full-fledged IR cam.

If IR photography is your main passion, then it may be a good investment to get it modded.

when taking IR pics, u used a tripod instead becos u will be standing long under hot bright sun ... u will be BBQ & charcoal tanned without a tripod.
