tamron 18-270mm lens
Hi to all alpha forummers here...
Just wondering...as i had read from other threads that tamron 18-270mm Di II VC LD Aspherical (IF) Macro lens is a good versatile lens to own..been wondering if there is any for our alpha baby?? similiar focal length and performance would be good. Any Idea?? Cheers |

As far as I know, Tamron isn't going to release this for Alpha mount. We have the 18-250 thou, which should be quite similar to that 18-270.

not sure whether the extra 20mm makes a whole lot of difference, but I always thought that tamron 18-270 would appeal due to its VC (??), the in-lens IS feature.. which is not applicable to in-body IS system like Alpha..
so a-mount can stick to 18-250 lens (both tamron and Sony's version).. |

these are the 2 quotes i got but the thing is...its out of stock..haha....would any one know if it will be easily available in the states? i went to tamron website and found one retailer thats within walking distance from the LA hotel that i will be staying at....so might drop by there and see if its cheaper to get it from there...but now USD more expensive than last time....so see how lor...
