Default Moving Water...


My first attempt at moving water..shot at 5 seconds at F22...

Any way to make this better?

May I know what mode did you select? Shutter priorty? or what?

You can try shooting at a bigger apperture like F11 below and add in a ND 8 filter to block out light and thus being able to get a longer exposure. Using F22 degrades IQ. Using a bigger apperture will also result in less depth of field resulting in the blurring of some of the background, thus this will lead the eye to focus in more on the main subject, moving water in the foreground. Also suggest that you can try to look for another angle,or better yet another area of water flow around that area (somewhere with more water flow) as currently I have to say the big rocks are a distract point. If you did not say you are taking moving water, people might think you are just taking a general landscape shot.
