Help on linking to computer!!!

I just brought the Dimage 5. trying to connect to PC (Win ME), installing was all auto, dun even need the CD. But when I click on the removable drive, there's was nothing inside! best of all, it shows that my storage was 350MB!!! me only using 128MB compact flash!!!
Any kind soul out there please help!!!

Hmmmm... so... you switched on computer.... then plug in the usb cable to your camera while camera is off. Then you switch to transfer mode. Correct? No experience with Win ME....
