Default Tulamben, Bali on 50mm Macro

Here are some images taken with Olympus E-3 housed in an Ikelite system with dual Inon D2000W strobes (manual) with 50mm F2 Macro lens.

wow, the last one is mind-boggling! are the pictures cropped? or original size? could never get it at this sort of magnification..

Dont need to crop..Subject so big...Nothing super macro...should not be that hard to get such magnification....

Nothing is too small now. With the right diopters, extension tubes, wetlens.. even a 2mm nudi looks big. ;-)

Have not started shooting planktons yet..so not on super macro yet.. so magnification is not a problem now.

Is it? only count 2 in the foreground and 1 in the background. Lao hua yan liao....

This is a shot without the extension tube, diopter and wetlens.
Just goes to show how small the trapania toddi are.
There are two of them - one in the centre and the bigger on the top right.
Bottom is a scale by using my bolt snap as a guage.
