Nikon out of stock items--when will be available???

I have been asking the shops around regarding MB-80 (battery grip) but out of stock for 3-weeks already. Any idea why so, or can you share if you are looking for items with similar status?

Try posting in BnS. You might be able to get a 2nd hand hand grip.

hey...btw whats the price of the MB-80..??..got fall below 200 liao?..thinking of buying 1 for my D90...then can buy 1 more battery to add...(:..

the price is around $210-$230.

i have a 3rd party grip which feels like the original nikon grip. however, occasionally the "battery reading" becomes 0 , but all i need to do is move the grip a little and everything is normal again.i suspect it's faulty battery..

im not encouraging 3rd party grip, go with the original if possible. but im satisfied with mine.

btw, 2nd hand mb-80 is around $160-180

It's getting frustrating to be a Nikon user and buy their accessories.

It's the end of March 2009, I'm still waiting for my hotshoe cover since December 2008.

Lens cap and petal hood all no stock.

Always one big ding-dong and taiqi with Nikon Singapore, no stock at Nikon Singapore try the other stores, maybe they've the stock. Go to check out the stores, still waiting for stock from Nikon Singapore.

Still waiting for the call from Nikon Singapore as I've put down my contact number for the hotshoe cover to come in stock.
