Default Canon 5DMark2 offer

Not sure if this is the correct thread to post in.
But came across this:
http://www.bargaincity.com.sg/exclus...s-c-64_65.html
5Dmark2 - S$3,749 (incl GST)
Anyone bought from them. Do they have a shop to drop by and purchase.
Thanks!

I got a cheap EF lens from them before. Think only purchase online and you still can go personally to do a collection. Bishan area I think.

Just spoke to them.
1) They order stock from Canon direct.
2) Cheque, COD, CC terms available.
3) Warranty as per normal (local 15mth etc ... )

Hmmm ... really tempting.

Cp is selling at the price too. MS color is selling at $3780 with screen protector and etc. Not sure if bargaincity offer any freebies...also if something happen can you like go down and do 1-1 exchange? Basically what is their service like?

MS Color's "free-gift" version of the screen protector is smaller than the LCD on 5DMII and only for the main LCD not the top panel. I got my 5DII from them too but the freebie I got was better price for a lens, couple accessories and good service. I believe they have the proper version that fits from edge-to-edge of the LCD but I reckon not free, but... bargain lor. Bought mine from eBay, some Made in Japan ExpertShield for a couple of US$, satisfied with it.

haha... i am still more comfortable with shops specialises in cameras like mscolor n cp...
just feel that their service is better...

u can try to online request a quote...
most of the time, their up to date price is match or is even better than electronics departmental shops...

Last night when I visited the site it was $3,749 (incl GST).
Now its $3,839 (incl GST)...!!!
Haha...

Nevertheless it's still a reasonable price... But it always feels more comfortable to buy from specialise camera shop, especially if you know the salesperson..

Hmmm... the price states S$3,839.00 nett (incl. GST)
I've found it @ S$3780.00 nett (incl. GST) but it's definitely not from bargaincity.

Actually if people are anal about getting completely brand new camera with no shutter counts, bargaincity is a good place since they don't allow people to test the units. Shops like CP, MS or J3:16 will allow potential buyers to test the unit and sometimes people decided not to buy after trying out...

I don't think there will be no shutter count, even if they don't allow people to test. During manufacturing, the testing would already been done by Canon.
