    maybe you could elaborate 'clear'?
use a small aperture and mount your camera on tripod. clean your keyboard before taking the shot?

clear as in transparent? or all sharp?

this is not difficult... use a wide angle, go closer. or use a tilt shift... which i doubt u have.

for the black keyboard, you also need good light to highlight each key so that they can be seen clearly

try to shoot straight on instead of slanting the keyboard is u want entire key board to be in focus.

move backwards if u dont have a wide angle lens.

the more u slant and go near, the deeper the dof u need, ie small aperture. but if u dont have wide angle lens, it is very difficult to achieve the dof.

also, typically, if u close down beyond f8 or f11 (depending on lens) diffraction comes in and image becomes "soft" again.

    lighting also very important.

focal length is impt, u use a 50mm, u have to see where you are shooting from, the distance... if the infinity say 5 meter... ur item to fit full view is 2.5m, then still need to close down alot.

but for wide angle, infinity say 2m, item to fit full view is 1m, but i dun wanna take so near due to distortion... i shoot at 2m, no need for f8 or f11... and can use natural lighting...
