Default Light grey version of the 300mm/4 AF-S

Hi!
Does anyone know any place selling the 300mm F4 AF-S in the light grey shell? Nikon Singapore confirms that they can bring it in, but they have no indication how long stock takes to arrive. Hence, I don't mind buying from an internet source.

Already dropped Cathay an email, perhaps they'd have stock - would appreciate any other leads

Thanks!

Hey guys!
Sorry I don't have a quote on hand. I've also asked places like Tim C photo in HK, no stock. Waiting for a reply from digitalrev and cathay. If I do find the price I'll pop a note here; I've read in forums that the light grey housing is about 10% more in price. I really hope it works, as all my black lenses can get really hot to grip when I'm in oz under the sun.

Cheers!

Hmmmm CP came back 2k sgd w/o gst, digital rev out of stock. I think I'll just settle with the black edition and wrapping a towel or something around the lens barrel when things get too hot. Too bad there is no sun screen equivalent for cameras lol. Cheers!

You can gaffer the barrel so you will not touch the hot metal part directly.
