Default HCJC Openhouse 2003..

Hcjc's open house was held yesterday.. on 23rd October 2003.. here are some of the pictures i took

All shots taken with Canon EOS D30 + Canon 420EX flash ( FEC usually -1 to -1.7 )

would've preferred tighter crops and closeups of those visiting the school, with some facial expressions, etc.

and the taekwondo shot was quite impressive, though, again, a tighter crop would've been nice. 2 cents worth. you used fill-flash? or just natural light?

And watch the headroom too. Can tilt some of the shots lower.

mayde the headroom problem is because you take all your shots standing? i personally find it helpful when composing to kneel or squat down, even sit down on the ground to keep my lens flush horizontal with the ground; somehow tilting makes shots look unnatural. but, it's a personal preference lah. up to your shooting style.
