Have been thinking to monitor the sound out from camera using bluetooth headset...
Current setup .. has been very troublesome. If I were to use shorter cable headphone, it will limit my camera movements.. If I use a longer one.. then it will get all over the place.. It's like so many stuffs to manage.. and make the camera difficult to move around.. Anyone use any before ? or recommendations ? Found quite a lot in google. but wonder if it's practical for my usage ? Don't think so I will need something like sony's High End Headphone series.. Just to monitor for sound. what do u think ? |

More equipment to carry = more leychey and more things to worry about.
I use a proper soundman for my audio requirements and let the pro handle the job. For my own sound rig, I use a 4ch portable mixer, and I have a multi-core cable to send audio from mixer into camera's input, and likewise, a monitor output from camera will feed back into my mixer for monitoring. 1 single cable to do the trick, and cable mess is always managed by the soundman.

erm.. in my opinion.. I just needed some simple sound monitor on camera. Most of the sound capturing will go directly into camera..
So the budget might no stretch till the need of a soundman ... some browsing online I this : http://www.itechdynamic.com/en/produ...id=6&pid=06020 This brand I-tech is rather popular in my place.. Planning to stick this thing on the battery pack or under the camera with velcro .. then wear a small earphone just like bluetooth headset.. |
