Just a quick qstn abt my 18-135

Hi Guys,

I've been using my D80 with the kit lens since August last year.
Lately I have been having some probs with the lens.
It'll make some squeaky noises when it AF....at times it can AF at all. must zoom in and zoom out and do AF again.
but the squeaky noise is bothering me...
if i bring down the lens to NSC will it be FOC since its still under warranty?

haent use my 18-135kit for very long time, but if u dont feel comfortable and you are still cover under warranty, go down to NSC and have them take a look. they wouldnt do anything without your permission. tell them that your lens AF is squeaky and ask them to check if anything is wrong with the lens, since under warranty the service is free for the checking. if there is a problem they will inform u and seek your permission to fix it if it going to cost u, if no charge they may just fix it and return to u without asking u.
