Default have anyone used this? leather holster for D90.

saw something i like but wonder if anyone have used this?

haha it looks like a handgun holster.
(eg. like those we watch in TV shows/movies, FBI/Police use to keep their guns.)

Thanks for the info.. I just emailed them for quotes for different camera model, I hope they are priced cheaper than Luigi's.

yes... but more compact than the thinktank.... would be good for those who shoot fast but dun want to strain the neck but still want it accessible ...

Leather... Isn't the best kind of fabric to use for outdoors...

agree with it...it give me a feel like lack of protection to the camera.

but the fully padded and covered thinktank holster is too bulky. generally, DSLR is tough enough to handle abrasions and sideway knocks so i dun need them to be covered. but rather the attachment to the belt must be strong to handle any push and should not drop off to the floor, and i'm not sure if it can be attached to a thick thinktank belt and still are super secure.

the overlying strip should also be easy to put on and off but still secure against light abrasion. i also hope the lower end to be open, so the type of lens will not be limited.

this is no little money, so function and quality wise must be there, if not it is just beautiful white elephant
