    Default A notice

Went to shoot macro came across this notice attached to the sugar cane plant in the open field near the private housing estate. What do you think about the notice? Basically you are not allow to cultivate any plants or flowers in the state land.

Seems like the authorities have nothing better to do.

There's so much to be fixed in Singapore. The fallen trees around my estate have yet to be removed. Trees that need pruning, have not been pruned. A part of the roof section is yet to be fixed. All these they do not take consideration. Just because some nice person, tried planting sugar cane, it becomes a big issue.

Just look at the roads today, compared to 10 years ago. The roads are not even kept clean today. The leaves are not swept, left there to clog drains. Nothing is done properly today. Everything is done haphazardly. Items that need to be fixed are not fixed. Instead new items are meddled with and replaced. Until when such time a person dies because of a poorly maintained structure, then everyone realizes the problem. By then it's too late. How to account for the lost life?

Sometimes, i feel like the tax payers money is going into the drains.

    Seow Ser Yan
    COLLECTOR of LAND REVENUE
    Singapore Land Authority
