My 50-200mm swd lens hood was lost and I'd like to buy one. Where can I get this? My friend will be coming to Singapore next week. Thanks.

Hi microcsm, I have previously inquired from Olympus Singapore but I have yet to receive a reply from them. Any specific store that you know?

Most stores won't carry this item as there's no regular demand for it, so you'll have to either order it and wait a few weeks, or get it direct from Olympus.

Suggest you phone Olympus and ask for the parts department to see if they have it in stock, or you buy a generic rubberized hood that attaches to the filter thread...you have to get the one that exactly fits the filter thread of 67mm; the generic rubber hood will even be cheaper than the Olympus hood.

The cheapest alternative is to download a free hood, print it out and cut it out:
