    I am very surprised that the Bower costs more than the Vivitar

    There are 2 more brands that are exactly like teh Bower. I am not surprised if they came out of the Samyang factory in Korea.

    That's because they are essentially the same lens.
    If i'm not wrong they are all based on the Vivitar Series 1 85mm
