Default Error opening image in Microsoft photo editor

hi,

when i tried to open a large image in Microsoft potor editor, the error message given was:

"The image is too large (too many bytes)"

question: how to i make it possible to view the image in MS photo editor ?

I know can use photoshop CS to view, but the program need to load.
the MS phot editor is a simple double click and can activate immediately.
Tried to do a search and nothing came up....

Use a different viewer then for just viewing pictures. Irfanview is fast and has a few very useful features for quick editing / renaming / converting.
