Hi Mactreouser,

I'm surprised you started another thread. Here is the other one.

Well, anyway...

I shot a wedding using the HMC-152 last weekend. Still have to get use to the IRIS control and the ND filters.

Continuous shots from the carpark to the tentage to the HDB void deck are very challenging. The lighting changes are craaaazy. From bright sunshine to shade, from shade to a mixture of sunlight and tungsten.

What about white balance changes, you may ask. It's a good thing that you can set 02 different white balance settings on the HMC-152. If not, have a white or grey card handy. There is a PRESET setting but I have not tried that yet, so I don't know what it does.

I edit mostly using iMovie 06 and FCP 4.5. But I downloaded the clips into iMovie 08 and then imported them into iMovie 06 for editing.

How much memory does it take to store all these clips ?

After downloading two and a half hours of footage into iMovie 08, the memory count stand at slightly more than 200 GB. However, clips that are imported into iMovie 06 will be 20% smaller.

I'm still in the middle of importing the clips into iMovie 06. Once I finish doing that I'll update on the final memory count.

As for the image quality, it's FANTASTIC Compared to the wedding footages I shot using my Panny AG-DVC62, these are many times better. I shot in 1080/25i. The colour is very rich. I didn't know that we can see, on an LCD monitor, that many shades and tints of any particular colour

I have yet to edit them and burn them into a DVD. Once it is done, I'll play it on my DVD player and will update on the verdict.

Till then, Cheerio !!
