Hi Guys, I am testing a Stofen Diffuser at home.
All pics taken at an angle. I noticed that bounce flash (white ceiling) always better then with diffuser (same angle). Is that generally true? When then to use diffuser? Is it used when don't have ceiling? |

bigger the surface (ceiling) you bounce, the softer the light you will get, and also the weaker the light you will also get.
no ceiling, nothing to bounce=don't need to bounce |

you need to read up more on flash photography if you claim that a particular method is always going to be more superior. it really depends on what you want. just because the bounce flash worked better for your purposes AT THIS TIME, doesn't mean it's always going to be better. |
