Default A Night Stroll

Recently tagged along on a torch lit group outing exploring a bush path in Australia. I raced ahead a little of the group and this was the 30sec exposure as the all walked past torches swinging oblivious to the camera.

Looking at this picture reminds me of a light trail picture which I'd seen in a photo magazine some years ago.
The theme is similar.. light trails, but the difference is...

they shoot it from the bottom of a village, the light trails were form/produce by a group of very experience skiers, starting from the top of the mountain, with one hand holding the torch/flare and ski down the mountain trail, quite dangerous to say so, especially in the middle of the night.

The camera was set on B shutter and expose for around two to three hours, in order to make the picture more interesting, they had to purposely ski in a zigzag manner and also using different coloured flare.
