Default kid playing at clarke quay fountain

was out testing a minolta dynax 300si + vitacon 28-210mm lens + xp2 (most if not all were shot at 210mm)
this slr only has picture mode, and it doesnt show shutter speed or aperture. so i also dont know the setting except that i shot all in portrait picture mode. the shutter lag of this camera is very long, compare to my dlsr and 1vhs. so have to estimate the timing. also, this is the 1st time i using push pull af zoom lens, find it very difficult to hold it steady.
did not use any b&w filter.
scanned with canoscan fs2710 as color neg.
pp to b&w using optik filter (freeware)

yup, a model she is!! was told by her dad she was in the tv ads for baby diapers in Brazil. she knows when to look at the camera and give you time to shoot her (there were 2 of us taking photos of her).

thanks guys.

yup, i was dam lucky to have this opportunity to shoot this very cute little girl. was dam afraid i screw up the shots because this is the 1st test run with the dynax 300si + vitcon 28-210. not used to the shutter lag and totally lost of control over the aperture and shutter speed (cant even see the setting).

very happy this shots came out nicely exposed with nice dof.
