Well, you won't get to shoot the interiors. Below is the reply from the Istana office.

You can bring cameras into the grounds but not into the buildings

A word of caution. Plenty of open space but it means few shelters. Do bring along umbrella, poncho, or plastic bags to protect your equipment from rain.

open from 8.30 to 6.30

u can bring camera into the grounds
but u cannot take pictures inside the istana building itself.

entry into istana grounds free for citizens/pr
$2 for istana building for all

should be a few sch bands performing
president comes around 4 i think. cant remember.

rain = bad bad. hardly any shelter at all.
